Insurance help
Compare the claim with the cash price
Get the deductible and coverage details from your insurer. We will price the same job and tell you which out-of-pocket path costs less.
The practical path
Four steps. No runaround.
The customer contacts the insurer or TPA. VA Auto Glass does not bill the insurer or TPA directly. Our part is to price the glass work correctly and help you compare that price with what the policy leaves you paying.
- 01
Get the claim details
Ask your insurer or TPA for the claim or reference code, your deductible, and the glass coverage available for this loss.
- 02
Get the cash quote
Send us the vehicle year, make, model, service ZIP, and damage. We price the same proper job without assuming insurance is the better route.
- 03
Compare what you pay
We compare the insurance out-of-pocket amount with our cash quote. If cash is lower than the deductible, we tell you.
- 04
Choose the better route
If insurance leaves you paying less, you can use the coverage. If cash costs less, you can skip the claim. The choice stays with you.

- Does VA Auto Glass call the insurer for me?
- No. You contact the insurer or TPA and get the claim or reference code, deductible, and available coverage. Bring those details to us and we will compare the out-of-pocket path with our cash quote.
- Does VA Auto Glass bill the insurer directly?
- No. VA Auto Glass does not bill the insurer or TPA directly. The customer handles that relationship and confirms how the carrier will pay under the policy.
- What if the cash quote is below my deductible?
- Then paying cash can cost less than using the claim. We will tell you when that is true for the same job, including the glass and any required recalibration.
- Can my insurer make me use a specific shop?
- Virginia law says an insurer cannot require a designated repair facility as a condition of settling a claim. Confirm the claim process and payment terms with your insurer before work starts.
