ADAS windshield recalibration
The requirement comes from the vehicle procedure, not a guess based on model year. We identify it before the glass work is treated as complete.
The short version
If your windshield has a camera for lane-keep or automatic braking, the vehicle procedure may require initialization or recalibration after replacement. We check the exact procedure and handle required calibration in-house with our equipment and controlled bay.
What this includes
- We check whether the exact vehicle procedure requires it
- Required calibration handled in-house by Soran Pirhoun
- Our own equipment and a level, controlled bay, the setup a static calibration requires
- The cost told to you upfront, never a surprise line at the end
- The customer confirms insurance coverage with the insurer or TPA
We check the vehicle's camera procedure
A windshield camera can require initialization or recalibration after replacement. We check the manufacturer procedure for the exact vehicle and handle required calibration in-house with our equipment and controlled bay.
Compare insurance with cash
Get the claim or reference code, deductible, and available coverage from the insurer. We price the same job and tell you when the cash quote is lower than the insurance out-of-pocket amount. We do not bill the insurer or TPA directly.

The adhesive system, temperature, humidity, and vehicle setup affect minimum drive-away time. We tell you the time for that installation and do not release the vehicle before it has passed.

Quick questions
ADAS Recalibration, answered
- Do you calibrate in-house or send it out?
- In-house. We have our own recalibration equipment and the level, controlled bay a static calibration needs. We follow the procedure for the exact vehicle.
- Does my car need ADAS recalibration?
- A camera behind the mirror for lane-keep, adaptive cruise, or automatic emergency braking is a strong clue, but model year alone is not enough. We check the exact vehicle equipment and procedure before we tell you.
- Is recalibration actually required?
- The vehicle manufacturer requires it after a windshield replacement so the safety systems aim correctly. It is a safety step, not an upsell. Skipping it can leave lane-keep and auto-braking reading the road wrong.
- How do I check whether insurance covers it?
- Ask the insurer or TPA what the policy covers for the windshield loss and any required calibration. We include the required work in our quote so you can compare the out-of-pocket paths.
